Young Athlete Grant Scheme – applications open for 2019<\/p>\n
The AAA has a fund which is able to support English Athletes under the
\nage of 23 who are in full time education and active in athletics.
\nApplicants should not be receiving other funding and be eligible to
\ncompete for England.<\/p>\n
Registered charity Athletics for the Young offer financial help to young
\nathletes and aim to spread their money widely to as many as possible so
\nathletes receiving help elsewhere will not usually be granted an award.
\nThe charity are particularly interested in helping genuine hardship
\ncases for promising young athletes.\u00a0 Over recent years, it has been the
\npolicy of the Charity to award small grants of the order of \u00a350 to \u00a3200.
\nIt is possible to apply for funds for costs including equipment and
\ntravel. Applications close 10 February 2019 and successful applicants
\nwill be contacted by the end of April.<\/p>\n
