Athletics meeting to be held in memory of a local Coach<\/p>\n
Following the passing of athletic coach, Charles Stuart, a track and field meeting will be held at the end of March at Middlesbrough Sports Village.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Middlesbrough AC (Mandale) is hosting a Track & Field meeting for its club members in the memory of Charles who died last year following a short illness.<\/p>\n
Charles was a long established coach, official and chairman of the club. He officiated throughout the North East and was a highly regarded Timekeeper. Such is the respect afforded to Charles that many officials have volunteered to support this inaugural meeting to be held on Sunday March 25.<\/p>\n

In addition to the track meeting, Charles\u2019 wife Chris, and the family will be unveiling a plaque to commemorate his life in athletics. The family will be joined by many of his former athletes and club members, both past and present who will all be in attendance to honour the significant contribution that Charles made to athletics over the last 40 years.<\/p>\n
