The NEYDL’s final meeting of the season is scheduled to take place at Shildon on Sunday, July 16th.
We would love to see all Under 13s and above at this event so the club finishes strongly, we are anticipating being a position higher than the last match if we got more athletes there and doing more than two events each! , if you meet the requirements, we encourage you to join us. The best part is, it won’t cost you anything except for the transportation to get there.
On the day of the event, it’s important to plan ahead. Make sure to arrive at least an hour before the start time to secure parking. Once you’ve parked, locate the team. Look for the club flag a big Blue one, take some time to warm up for your events. If you’re unsure about which events you can participate in, just visit our club website at www.middlesbroughac.org.uk/nydl-northern-youth-dvelopment-league. Look for the link labelled “Division 2 Timetable” on that page to find the information you need.
Before the event, we kindly request that you speak to Andrew. He will be able to pencil in your preferred events and help you with any questions or concerns you may have.
Please note that to compete, you must be a club member and wear a club vest. These are essential requirements that you need to fulfil in order to participate. We look forward to seeing you there and making the last meeting of the season a memorable one!
Following the NEYDL meeting, there is another exciting event to look forward for all age groups. On Tuesday, July 18th at 6pm, our local league, the NYSD, will be hosting a track and field meeting at our stadium. It’s a fantastic opportunity to continue your athletic journey and showcase your skills.
To participate in this event, it is important to pre-register. You can easily do so by visiting www.nysd.org.uk/2023/06/19/msv-18th-july-track-and-field. This will ensure a smooth registration process and allow you to secure your spot in the competition. It will cost Under 11s £2.50 per event only 2 events you can enter at this age group, £3 per event over 11s 3 events in total Don’t miss out on this chance to further engage with the local athletic community and test your abilities.
