A flurry of activity descended upon the track as the early athletes arrived for the annual Charles Stuart Open Meeting, honouring the memory of our beloved Chairman and coach. Athletes and spectators alike were eager to join in the festivities and were joined by Charles’ former athletes who had come to officiate the event. With only 40 days left until the club’s annual open athletics meeting, the news is not looking good. So far, only eight athletes from the club have entered the competition, out of a total of 30 athletes from around the region.

The clock is ticking, and the club officials are growing increasingly concerned about the low turnout. They are urging all club members and athletes from around the region not to wait until the last minute to register for the competition.

The open athletics meeting is one of the most significant events of the year for the club, and we are determined to make it a success. However, without enough participants, the event may be in jeopardy.

The spokesperson for the club said, “We cannot stress enough how important it is for athletes to register for the Charles Stuart open athletics meeting as soon as possible. Don’t wait until the last minute, as we may have to cancel the event if we don’t have enough participants. This would be a huge disappointment for everyone involved.”
