Please wrap up!
In addition to the usual constitutional obligation for all members of the committee to stand down at each AGM (but eligible for re-election if they so wish), this year we specifically seek nominations to take on the roles of Chairperson, Secretary, Membership Secretary and Treasurer. We would like to welcome new faces onto the committee to help rebuild the Club’s momentum following the difficult last 12 months.

Note: Paid up members and parents of members under 16 may be present at the AGM. Parents of members over 16 who are not club members may wish to be put forward for committee roles. They can attend the AGM as long as their nominations have been received by 25 March.
Please submit any items for Agenda item 5 and 6 to 2021agmnominations@middlesbroughac.org.uk by 25 March
Nominations for Officers as listed above should be received by the 25 March no later than 1 week prior to the AGM. Nominations to include the names of the proposer and seconder and the nominee’s intent to stand for a position.
(If there are insufficient nominations received by 25 March then nominations could be proposed and seconded on the night of the AGM)
The above positions need to be filled to form a new forward thinking committee. If you are interested in taking on a role within the club, both England Athletics and ex-committee members can gladly offer their support and guidance.
If a committee cannot be formed on the night, then the club will have to look at alternatives to move forward post Covid. These can be discussed at the AGM.
In the meantime, stay safe and well.
